The territory of Russia: Photo exhibition of the finalists of the competition "The Most Beautiful Country" in the center of Moscow

January 25, 2017 it is opened a photo exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society "The most beautiful country". The exhibition stands are installed on the capital's famous boulevards in the open air. Moscow streets will be decorated with the works of winners and finalists of the second photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society.

On Arbat will appear finalists’ photographs in "The most beautiful country. Landscape", "Peoples of Russia", "Animals", "Young Photographer".

On the Chistoprudny boulevard will house works of nominations "Sanctuary Russia", "Macrocosm", "Black and White Nature".

On the Gogol Boulevard you can see pictures from the series "Birds", "The world is in our hands", "Industrial Landscape".

On Nikitsky Boulevard – you can admire the best photographs of the category «Stealing heritage" and "Underwater World".

The exhibition will run till February 25, 2017.

The photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society "The most beautiful country" – is a large-scale media project dedicated to wildlife conservation and education of Russian to respect for the environment through the art of photography. It was first held in 2015 and caused a wide public resonance. Since 2016 it has become annual.

The rules of the creative competition have no restrictions on age and place of residence of the participants. The main condition - the photos should be made only on the territory of Russia. The competition in 2016 was attended by 23 thousand domestic and foreign photographers who have sent about 110 thousand shots.
