Memory Russia: Scientific and Practical Conference "There is the greatness of Russia in their names" in Tatarstan
25-26 January 2017 in the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve (Pespublika Tatarstan) is held the Scientific-Practical Conference "There is the greatness of Russia in their names" dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Ivan Shishkin and the 160th anniversary of the birth of V. M. Bekhterev.
The conference is attended by over 100 people: these are descendants of Shishkin and Bekhterev from Russia and Finland, representatives from the Ministries of culture and health of the Republic of Tatarstan, scientists, researchers, heads of museums and higher education institutions from different cities of our country.
Sectional work of the conference will be held at two venues: "The spiritual heritage of Ivan Shishkin in the cultural space of modern Russia" and "Personality of the great scientist in the history of the Fatherland. Vladimir Bekhterev".
Within the conference will be open three exhibitions. On January 26, the I. I. Shishkin House-Museum will exhibit the last apprentice of the artist G. I. Choros-Gurkin from the funds of the A. V. Anokhin National Museum (Gorno-Altaisk), as well as the exhibition of the architect of Supreme Court, County native of Yelabuga of Vyatka province V. F. Svinyin "He built our House" from the funds of the Russian Ethnographic Museum (St. Petersburg). The xhibition hall of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve will present the exhibition "Music of silence", revealing the multifaceted creativity of talented Yelabuga resident Alexandra Druzhinina.
