Russian culture abroad: Photo exhibition “Russia: people, places, moments” in Slovenia

January 12, 2017 at the Museum of National Liberation (Maribor, Slovenia) was opened a photo exhibition "Russia: people, places, moments", organized by the Russian Center in Maribor and international multimedia project "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" Russia Beyond The Headlines.

The exhibition features 30 unique photos taken by Russian and foreign photographers in various parts of Russia. Life without embellishment, the unity of man and nature, unusual camera angles and original vision - these are the basic conditions for the selection of photographs, which capture a moment in the life of man and nature - from the morning rush hour on the Moscow metro to the work of fishermen on the lake Baikal.

Additional authors of photographs - well-known photographer Szabolcs Vorosh (Hungary), and winner of numerous international awards photographer Frank Herfort (Germany). Both of them spent a lot of time in Russia, traveling to its most remote inaccessible corners.
