Society and culture: The exhibition, dedicated to Sergei Yesenin’s parents, is opened in the Ryazan region

January 17, 2017 at the S. A. Yesenin State Museum-Reserve (the Ryazan region) is opened the exhibition "Somewhere my father and my mother are living" dedicated to the family life of Alexander Nikitich and Tatiana Feodorovna Yesenins.

The exhibition is based on historical documents, photographs, personal items and newsreels. They will help to learn more about the parents of the poet, to trace their fate, to talk about families of the Yesenins and the Titovs.  

Historical documents of the Ryazan regional archive tell about the birth of Tatyana Titova, the marriage with Alexander Yesenin, reflecting the economic situation of the family. There are many valuable documents from the collections of the S. A. Yesenin Museum-Reserve, including the construction of the house of the poet's grandfather, on the consolidation of the estate of Alexander Nikitich, the organization of the museum and the preservation of the memory of the poet.

Photographs of the Constantine Museum provide an opportunity to see how life circumstances and time changed faces, highlighting the main features of the character of each of the spouses.

Particular attention is paid to the memorial subjects of the House of the Yesenins. The exhibition also includes paintings by well-known Ryazan artists A. M. Titov, S. F. Yakushevsky, S. A. Yepifanov, V. D. Chavkin, A. A. Khomenko.
