Libraries and society: A new model of Library Code for the states - participants of the CIS is adopted

According to the official website of the RBA, November 25, 2016 by the Permanent Commission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport was adopted the model code of the Library for the CIS member states in the new edition.

The text of the Model Code for the Library - the CIS member states in the new edition is available on the website of the Interparliamentary Assembly of States - members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the "Documents of the IPA CIS".

In the development of the model code of the Library for the states - participants of the CIS took part the specialists of the Russian State Library, the National Library o Russia, the Russian Library Association.
