Memory of Russia: Monument to Samuel Marshak installed in Moscow

At a meeting of the Commission on monumental art at the Moscow City Council, it was decided to install a monument in the capital to the Russian writer, translator, author of popular children's books of Samuel Marshak.

To the 130th anniversary of the birth of Samuil Marshak it was prompted to install a monument next to the house where he lived - on the Lyalina square.

It is planned to hold an open creative competition involving a jury of representatives of architectural and artistic community as well as members of the Commission on monumental art.
