To the Day of Russian Science: The Moscow Planetarium opens an exhibition dedicated to three great scholars

February 8, 2017 research and educational institutions are celebrating the Day of Russian Science. It was established by the Decree of the President of Russia on June 7, 1999. Festival first began to be celebrated during the celebration of the 275th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

On February 8, the Day of Russian Science, at the Moscow Planetarium was opened an exhibition dedicated to three great national scientists - Tsiolkovsky, Chizhevsky and Korolev.

After exhibition, the guests will be able to attend a lecture "The scientific and creative heritage of the outstanding Russian scientist A. L. Chizhevsky".

The lecture at the opening of the exhibition is devoted to the 120th anniversary of the birth of A. L. Chizhevsky and the 160th anniversary of the birth of K. E. Tsiolkovsky.

The lecture will be followed by a presentation of rare photographs from the family archive.
