The Year of Ecology in Russia-2017: The project "ECO-reading with enthusiasm" was launched in Kursk

Centralized Library System of the city of Kursk invited young readers to become participants of the project "ECO-reading with enthusiasm", initiated within the framework of the Year of Ecology in Russia. Getting young book lovers with the literature of environmental themes, the works of naturalist writers this year is of particular importance and urgency.

The first stage of the project was the online contest "Literary ECO-Calendar of a young reader" aimed at improving the ecological importance of the book in the reading circle of young smokers. The contest will run from January to December 2017.

The online competition is open to young Kursk residents under the age of 14 years. Under the terms of the competition, participants send the correct answers to questions of the online quiz, compiled from the works of one of the naturalist writers.

Questions of the online quiz will be placed at the beginning of each month on the official website of the centralized library system of the city of Kursk. Answers will be accepted until the 20th day of each month.

At the end of each month will be made a rating of participants. Each participant, who took first place in the ranking, will go down in the short list of winners of the year.

In December 2017, according to the results of the online competition will be published "Literary ECO-Calendar of a young reader" with photos of 12 leaders of reading environmental literature.

In the first phase of Internet contest the participants will recall the work of the famous writer and naturalist Nikolai Sladkov, whose birthday is celebrated in January.
