Society and Culture: National and foreign atlases and maps, received in 2016, are presented at the exhibition in the Russian State Library

From February 6 to March 4, 2017 the Department of cartographic publications of the Russian State Library (Moscow) holds in its reading room (the Pashkov House) the traditional annual exhibition of new acquisitions "Mapping 2016: national and foreign atlases and maps received by the library in 2016".

The exhibition presents a large and varied collection of modern domestic and foreign atlases and maps. The exhibition includes geological, ecological, historical, linguistic and other special atlases. Also it is well represented tourist atlases and maps, cartography of road transport, city maps, travel guides, educational cartography, maps, electronic optical disks, sound cards, books on cartography, periodicals.
