Society and book culture: Days of Orthodox Book in Veliky Novgorod

On March 14, 2017, the Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library invites you to the solemn opening of the Days of the Orthodox Book in Veliky Novgorod.

On the opening day a lecture "Anna Akhmatova and the Orthodox direction in Russian literature of the XX century" will be held; literary composition "The Sacred Story in the Poems of Russian Poets" will be presented by the students of the Orthodox military-patriotic club "The Druzhina of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky".

In the library's reading room, from 14 to 19 March there is a book exhibition "The Living Word of Wisdom of the Spirit" and a traveling exhibition of the Novgorod Diocese "History of the Monument to the Millennium of Russia in Photos", prepared on the basis of the materials of the funds of the Novgorod State Unified Museum-Reserve.
