Russian Culture Abroad: The XXII Russian Art Festival in Marseille

From 10 to 25 March 2017, the Tourski Theater in Marseille (France) will organize the XXII Festival of Russian Art, which will feature performances, film screenings and the performance of the Igor Moiseyev ensemble.

The festival was decided to be dedicated to the memory of the famous director, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Artsibashev (1951-2015).

Since March 21, the festival will begin Days of Russian Cinema, which are held with the support of the State Film Fund of Russia.

The festival of Russian art in Marseille is organized and conducted by the director of the Theater of Tours, Richard Marten. For the first time this review was held in 1996. In 1998, Russian films appeared on the poster of the Marseilles festival. Since then, the Theater of Tours has been giving the audience annual meetings with the best Russian theaters and masterpieces of Soviet and Russian cinema.
