Society and Culture: The exhibition of spring postcards to International Women's Day in Astrakhan

In the Museum and Cultural Center "The Merchant's G. V. Tetyushinov House" (Astrakhan) was opened an exhibition "Spring motives" at which posters of the XX century from the collection of the Astrakhan ethnographer and collector Vladimir Gusev are presented to visitors.

In the exposition there are more than 100 postcards, and all of them are dedicated to the spring holidays: Easter, March 8, May 1 and others. There are also many bright postcards designed to congratulate relatives and friends with family celebrations. Subjects and style of performance are varied, but each of them depicts flowers, an obligatory symbol of this time of year.
