Memory of Russia: Monument "Immortal Regiment" will be installed in Tula on the Victory Day

To celebrate the Victory Day on May 9 this year, Tula will be decorated with a new monument called "Immortal Regiment". It will appear in the central city park, not far from the Winners alley. With the help of a photo mosaic, pictures of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War will be painted on the front side.

As told in the city administration, this will be the first such monument in the country. Its height will be almost seven meters, which will allow placing on it almost three and a half thousand pictures.

In 2017, a commemorative action "Immortal Regiment" will be held in Russia and abroad for the fifth time. On Victory Day, people will go out with portraits of their relatives to the streets through one column.
