Exhibitions: The exposition “Avant-garde. XX century” in the Radischev Museum in Saratov

From March 3 to April 16, 2017 in the Radischev Art Museum (Saratov) will exhibit the exhibition "Avant-garde. XX century" (from private collections in Europe), provided by the Art Center in the Perinnye Ryady (St. Petersburg).

The exposition presents more than 50 original lithographs from private collections. Among the authors there are Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Juan Miro, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Victor Vasarely, Georges Braque, Max Ernst, Man Ray, Bernard Buffet and others.

The exhibition "Avant-garde. XX century" traces the development of art throughout the XX century. The geography of the project is wide: from Russia, France, Germany, the USA to Greenland, Japan and Vietnam. This allows us to trace the development of avant-garde art throughout the globe.

The exposition presents works of not only recognized authors such as Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Juan Miro, Marc Chagall, but also works by lesser known artists who created a new aesthetics. At the exhibition you can get acquainted with the work of representatives of various avant-garde trends.

The exposition is supplemented by information stands, which allow getting a more complete picture of the work of the masters of the avant-garde of the XX century revealing the features of each trend.
