Memorable dates of Russia: The exhibition "1917. Code of the Revolution" to the 100th anniversary of the revolutionary events of 1917 in Moscow

In the Museum of Modern History of Russia (Moscow) was opened an exhibition "1917. Code of the Revolution" to the 100th anniversary of the revolutionary events of 1917.

The exposition presents personal belongings of the participants of the events, magazines, propaganda posters of a hundred years ago, rare archival documents, many of which are shown for the first time.

Among other unique exhibits: a porthole from the legendary cruiser Aurora, a telephone set from the headquarters of revolutionaries, as well as weapons from the place of execution of the royal family. The historical relics are added with the works of art, born under the influence of epoch-making events.

In total, the exhibition presents more than 1500 items from the funds of the Museum of Modern History of Russia and the Russian State Archive of Social and Political History.

The exhibition runs till November 12, 2017.
