ELAR Corporation has implemented a project of digitizing funds and collections in the State Museum of Heroic Defense and Liberation of Sevastopol.

According to the representatives of the museum, audio cassettes, videotapes, magnetic coils and negatives were converted into digital format. The aim of the project is to create an insurance electronic fund for its subsequent loading into the automated system of the "Museum-Z" institution. In addition, the digitized material will be transferred to the federal state information system "State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation".

The State Museum of Heroic Defense and Liberation of Sevastopol contains 131,429 units of storage, of which 96,405 items are of the main fund. The most valuable and unique is the collection of negatives of front-line photo correspondents N. A. Asnin, V. V. Mikoshi, D. G. Rymarev, K. M. Ryashentsev, E. A. Khaldei, B. G. Sheinin and others. A significant part of this collection has been digitized, and digital copies of negatives can be seen both on the museum's website and on the website of the State Museum of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation.
