Information technology and history: The interactive program for the birthday of Peter the Great is presented at the Multimedia Center of the State Russian Museum

June 9, on the birthday of Peter the Great, in the Multimedia Center of the State Russian Museum will be revealed the secrets of the new techno-game route "Peter and Paul. Great-grandfather and great-grandson". The route will be the continuation of a large project of the State Russian Museum "The Saga of the Romanov dynasty. Theater of Russian History".  

The exhibits of Peter's epoch and the time of the reign of the equally famous Emperor Paul I, the great-grandson of Peter the Great, are interpreted in films and multimedia programs created on the basis of works kept in the collection of the State Russian Museum.

Before starting the route, visitors will see new multimedia films, each of which reveals the pages of the distant era of Peter's reign before the viewer.

Personality of Peter for many years inspired artists to create monumental art monuments. Some of them, decorating the cities of Russia and Europe can be seen in the program "100 monuments to Peter the Great".
