International conferences: The VIII Alexander Nevsky Readings are held in Pskov

Traditional International Alexander Nevsky Readings are held in Pskov on June 8-9, 2017. The main theme of the readings is "From Alexander Nevsky to our days: lessons on history".

The readings are held with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Pskov and Porkhovsky Evseviy with the support of the Administration of the Pskov region, the leadership of the city of Pskov.

The purpose of the Readings is to discuss the role of Alexander Nevsky in the military history of Russia and the traditions of military service, the spiritual, moral and patriotic education among modern youth. The program of the Readings includes the plenary session, the work of sections and cultural and educational activities.
