Information Technology and Libraries: Mobile Libraries have been reopened on the streets of Cheboksary

In the parks and squares of Cheboksary, mobile libraries are re-emerging. For the third year, the Association of Libraries of the City of Cheboksary establishes virtual book shelves in public places.

Everyone can download any of the works for free on their mobile device.

This year, virtual bookshelves are installed in the park of V. Chapaev and in the Memorial complex "Victory".

According to the press service of the city administration, electronic libraries contain more than two hundred works of Russian and foreign literature that can be downloaded on mobile devices absolutely free of charge by scanning the QR code contained in the image of each book.

For fans of traditional reading in mobile libraries the shelves with ordinary books are installed. If desired, everyone can take the book home, and in return to bring their own.
