Information technology and society: Special routes for fans of the Confederations Cup-2017 appeared in the application "Discover Moscow"

Walking routes "On the way to the match" are now available in the mobile application "Discover Moscow". They were specially designed for football fans who came to the capital to play the Cup of Confederations. The way is planned in such a way that the guests of the capital can see the main sights of the city and get familiar with their history.

In total, the application presents three routes: long, calculated for 140 minutes, medium - 115 minutes and short - 55 minutes. They pass by the Red Square, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the House on the embankment, the English courtyard and other famous places of the city. The known path length will help you calculate the exact time and not be late for another match.

The mobile application "Discover Moscow" is a joint project of the Department of Education, the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Department of Culture and the Department of Information Technologies. The largest Moscow local historians and historians took part in its creation. Project users can offer their own routes or add information about objects. The application is available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
