
History of Russia: An exhibition devoted to the House of Romanovs was opened in the church of the Livadia Palace
The treasury of the memory of the family of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II was opened in the Krestovozdvizhenskaya Palace Church in the village of Livadia in the south of the Crimea.
"The exposition included authentic photographs of Russian emperors at the Romanovs' house - Alexander II, Alexander III, Nicholas II, empresses and grand dukes, as well as the personal photo album of Emperor Nicholas II. Silver and gold awards, orders, medals: the award for the defense of Sevastopol, Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolayevich - the Order of St. George, St. George crosses, table medals for the coronation, marriage and the death of Russian monarchs", - the press service of the Yalta administration said.
The Krestovozdvizhenskaya Church is a church at the Livadia Palace, which, at the request of the Empress Maria Alexandrovna, was consecrated in honor of the building of the Cross of God.
Over time, the museum collection will be moved to the under construction the Ascension church in Livadia.
