The exhibition "Moscow. Chronicles of the Soviet era. To the 870th anniversary of the city" is opened in the Museum-Estate "Kuskovo" (Moscow).

The exhibition presents works of Soviet artists from porcelain, ceramics and glass from the collection of the State Ceramics Museum and the "Manor of Kuskovo XVIII century", associated with memorable dates, important events, achievements of Soviet Moscow. The sections of the exhibition in chronological order will acquaint viewers with the history of the city's development and its transformation into the center of political, economic and cultural life of the country, starting from 1918, when Moscow is being transferred to the capital, and ending with the 1980s.

The exhibition presents more than 200 works from the funds of the State Museum of Ceramics and the "Manor of Kuskovo XVIII century", many of which are exhibited for the first time, as well as works performed in the creative workshop of the Union of Artists of Russia Igor Klimenkov (Moscow) - one of the leading enterprises for the production of author's porcelain.

A special place is given to works dedicated to the most important event of Moscow in the 1980s - the Olympics.

The exhibition is completed with the objects dedicated to the estate Kuskovo, which since the 1960s entered the city limits, and in 1980 hosted the Olympics after a large-scale complex restoration.
