Society and Culture: The best cultural projects were discussed at the Baikal Cultural Forum

The International Cultural Forum "Baikal-Totem" was held from 23 to 25 June 2017 in the cities of Irkutsk and Baikalsk. The idea of ​​the forum is to present the world a new stage in the development of the Baikal Territory. The forum is aimed at creating a comfortable environment for the development of creative initiatives, partnerships and joint art projects.

Within the framework of the forum, the panel session "Regional Culture - Points of Growth" was held. Participants of the event shared the best practices in the field of cultural projects in the regions of Russia. The session was organized by the Saint-Petersburg International Cultural Forum and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and continued the series of outreach events of the business program of the forum that take place during the year. Such events are a platform for the exchange of best practice projects in the field of Russian culture: both regional, successful at the federal level, and federal, expanding their activities in the regions.

Heads of leading federal and regional cultural institutions and representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation took part in the discussion at the first international forum "Baikal-Totem".
