Museums of Russia: The opening of a new exposition "Uglich in the history of the Russian state. XVIII - XIX centuries" in the Uglich Museum

July 15, 2017 in the Uglich Museum is opened a new exposition "Uglich in the history of the Russian state. XVIII - XIX centuries" on the second floor of the Chamber of Uglich specific princes.

The exposition is designed to tell about the imperial period of the history of Russia and the life of a small provincial city. Under the auspices of the Romanovs Uglich took a worthy participation in the life of the country, which changed rapidly. Together with the country, Uglich also changed.

Visitors will be able to see many interesting exhibits, including portraits of monarchs, belongings of city dwellers - government officials, weapons, awards and memorabilia, and coins from treasures found in the vicinity of the city.

For the exposition, new equipment (stands) was made, thanks to which not only the appearance of the hall changed, but there was an opportunity to re-submit the exposition material in a new way.
