The State Hermitage Museum has made a film about its history in the format of "virtual reality". This was told by the museum's director general Mikhail Piotrovsky.

"We give viewers the opportunity to put on virtual reality glasses and to move through time: to become a visitor to the Hermitage at different times and to witness events that took place there", he said.

The shooting was held on the Palace Square, in the museum halls, the Hanging Garden, on the roof of the Winter Palace.

The duration of the film is 19 minutes. The film can be seen from July 21 in the foyer of the General Staff, where a special cinema was equipped.
