On August 17, 2017 the Andrei Rublev Central Museum of Old Russian Culture and Art (Moscow) hosts an exhibition dedicated to the image of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Russian church art. A wide range of various monuments allows us to trace the development of iconography in icon painting, graphics and decorative and applied art since the end of the XV century. The exhibition features monuments from the Andrei Rublev Museum, a collection of icons with the support of the All-Apostle Andrew the First-Called Fund and private collections.
