Russian culture abroad: Exhibition of Russian art "From icon painting to the avant-garde" to be held in Vatican

President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Vatican State Secretary Pietro Parolin announced the upcoming exhibition "The Spiritual Heritage of Russian Art: From Icon Painting to the Avant-Garde", which will be deployed in Vatican in 2018.

"From all art lovers, we are grateful for the great organization of the exhibition from the Vatican Museums in the State Tretyakov Gallery. Now we are preparing a response action - an exhibition "The spiritual heritage of Russian art: from icon painting to the avant-garde", - the President of Russia underlined.
