September 1, the first ever monographic exhibition of works of the Russian artist Alexander Klünder (1802-1874 / 75) was opened in the State Pushkin Museum on Prechistenka in Moscow. The project involves all the leading museums in Russia - the State Hermitage Museum, the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Historical Museum, the Pushkin Museum of Arts and others. The exhibition "Alexander Klunder. Russian chamber portrait" opens the wide public the name of the "forgotten" painter, who created a wide portrait gallery of the Moscow society of Nicholas Russia, contemporaries of Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol.
