To the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1917: The exhibition "We are our own, we will build a new world: the first years of the Soviet Utopia" in Yaroslavl

Since October 6, 2017, the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve invites you to get familiar with the new exhibition "We are our own, we will build a new world: the first years of Soviet utopia". The exhibition is located in the exhibition hall of the historical department.

The exhibition is dedicated to the first decade of Soviet power - from 1917 to 1927. It is this time characterized by active searches and a resolute renewal of everything. The new museum exhibition has no political orientation, and does not pretend to fully cover the historical events. It tells what citizens of our country dreamed of at the dawn of Soviet power, about how they lived, what they wore, what they argued about, and what they admired about.
