Internet and history: The Internet project "Space launches" to the 60th anniversary of the launching of the first artificial Earth satellite in the USSR

The Russian state archive of phonodocuments (RGAFD) presents the Internet project "Space launches", prepared to the 60th anniversary of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite in the USSR.

The Internet project is posted on the archive's website. Its goal is to familiarize the public with the speeches and memoirs of cosmonauts and large scientists, reflecting the history of studying and mastering outer space. The project includes 92 fragments of records from the 1950s and 1970s, including cosmonaut communications sessions with the Earth and spacecraft signals.
