To the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution of 1917: The exhibition "Revolution in Focus" was opened in Tomsk

The Tomsk Regional Museum hosts an exhibition "Revolution in Focus".

The exhibition offers a look at the events of 1917 through the eyes of a photographer who found himself in the whirlpool of the Tomsk revolutionary events. People photographed in the pictures - soldiers of the Tomsk garrison, working people, Tomsk intelligentsia and students - all were captured by this political whirlwind. Guests of our exhibition will be able to see and feel the serious provocations in the provincial center far away from Petrograd, how the election campaigns were rattling rallies and leaflets, as the gray greatcoat of marching battalions and the diversity of the Tomsk inhabitants dotted with scarlet bows and slogans.
