Since November 8, 2017, for visitors, the hall №86 in the Benois body, dedicated to the official Soviet art of the 1930s-1950s, has been reopened. The opening of the hall after the restoration is timed to the anniversary of the Revolution of 1917. The exposition includes large-scale works by Arkady Plastov, Alexander Gerasimov, Vera Mukhina and other artists who opened the main All-Union exhibitions and were awarded with state awards and prizes.
