Memory of Russia: The exhibition "Monument to Minin and Pozharsky in Moscow. To the 200th anniversary of the main sculptural monument of Russia" is opened in the capital

January 31, 2018 in the State Historical Museum (Moscow) will be held the opening of the exhibition "Monument to Minin and Pozharsky in Moscow. To the 200th anniversary of the main sculptural monument of Russia".

The exposition is dedicated to the history of the first sculptural monument of Moscow created by the outstanding Russian sculptor Ivan Martos. The monument was inaugurated on February 20, 1818 in the presence of Emperor Alexander I.
