International events: The exhibition "The Volga and the Yangtze - great rivers of friendship" in Saratov

February 14, 2018 in the Saratov Regional Museum of Regional Studies opened an exhibition "The Volga and the Yangtze - the great rivers of friendship". This is a joint project of the museums of the Volga Federal District and the Chinese province of Hunan. It was initiated by the Lenin Memorial Museum in Ulyanovsk and is aimed at developing links between the internal regions of Russia and China. The photographs are provided by museums Astrakhan, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Cheboksary. The exhibition introduces the cultural diversity and the historical traditions of the two countries and peoples of the two great pools of national rivers - the Volga and the Yangtze.
