Society and Book Culture: Events dedicated to the Day of the Orthodox Book are held in the regions of the country
March 1, 2018 in the MIA "Russia Today" in Moscow held a press conference on the celebration of the Orthodox Book Day (March 14). With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, in March 2018, the ecclesiastical celebration of the Orthodox Book Day will take place in all the dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church, timed to coincide with the memorable date: on March 14 (March 1, old style), in 1564, the first printed book of Ivan Fedorov "The Apostle" was published. Since 2010, the feast has been held in all the dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church. Within the framework of the festival round tables, presentations, exhibitions, concerts, meetings with writers, as well as other cultural, educational and charitable events are held.
