Information Technologies and Libraries: Digitization of rare books and newspapers from the collections of the Russian State Library of Arts

ELAR continues to fill the "Newspaper articles" database of the Russian State Library of Arts (RGBI) and digitize rare books from the institution's funds.

One of the most important projects implemented by the Russian State Library for the Information Society since 2007 - the digitization of newspaper clippings, thematically related to art, was started jointly with ELAR. The library stores the original articles in the insurance fund, and thanks to the digitization of the need to give them to the hands of readers there. Instead, the search for materials is carried out according to the database "Newspaper articles".
