Volgograd Region Coat of Arms is an official symbol of the state - administrative status of the Volgograd region as a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation. The coat of arms of the Volgograd region is a rectangular heraldic shield with a ratio of height to width of 4: 3. In the red field of the shield is depicted in natural white the figure of the statue of Mother - Motherland, installed on the Mamayev Hill. At the level of the lower third, the shield is crossed horizontally by two blue bands, framed along the edges and separated by white edges. Two forms of the emblem of the region are established: the main and the front. The main coat of arms is a large coat of arms of the region, which is the coat of arms of the region described above, complemented by the following heraldic frame: the shield of arms is framed with a wreath of two green laurel branches and six yellow wheat ears. Above the lower part of the wreath is a red ribbon, on which the yellow uppercase letters are inscribed: "VOLGOGRAD REGION". Between the upper ends of the wreath there is a yellow five-pointed star.
