The coat of arms of the Omsk Region is approved by the Omsk Region Law "On the Emblem and the Flag of the Omsk Region" dated June 10, 2003 No. 450-OZ
The coat of arms of the Omsk Region is the official symbol of the state and administrative status of the Omsk Region as a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation. The coat of arms of the Omsk region is a quadrangular, with rounded lower corners, a pointed heraldic shield in the white end of which is a gold cross, burdened with a wavy azure column and accompanied in each of the corners by eight small green (2, 1, 2, 1 and 2) pyramids; above all, in the heart of the shield, scarlet with five (1, 2 and 2) bastions, shown from above, filled with silver, a fortress with a golden arch in the center.
