Lodochkina, 1912-1994) - survived the siege of Leningrad, from 1939 to 1945. kept a diary. - The diary fragment includes fragmented entries made by Valentina Aleksandrovna Meller from June 1941 to June 1942. The text begins with the words: "22 / VI-40 [i.e. 41] d. The 2nd Imperialist war began with Hitler. Today at 4 o'clock the Germans raided Kiev, Kaunas and ..." (author's spelling and punctuation are preserved). The entries are irregular: 22, 23, 28 and 29 June, 25 July, 5 and 31 August, 3, 9, 10, 12 and 24 September, 1, 13 and 17 October, 7, 20 and 29 November, 15, 18, 25 On December 27 and 31, 1941; 3, 8, 17 and 24 January, 4, 11, 15 and 25 February, 2, 12 and 20 March, 5, 6, 20, 21, 25 and 29 April, 9, 20 and 25 May, 6, 13 and 20 June 1942
