The cane purchased by V. G. Belinsky in Odessa in 1846 during a trip with M. S. Shchepkin: [photos].- Belinsky, [2021].- 3 files.-In the photographs: an orange -colored wooden cane with a bronze knob in the form of a sculptural portrait of Cardinal Richelieu.The cane of V. G. Belinsky is in the exposition of the State Museum-Estate V. G. Belinsky.It consists of two parts: a reed stick and a bronze knob, which is an elegantly performed head of the Cardinal Richelieu.The tanel with a diameter of 6.4 cm was made in France by the Ferdinand Barbedienne factory in 1840. A 88 cm stick has a bright color of the flame, in its upper part there is a hole for pulling the braid to keep the cane on the wrist.The cane was bought by V. G. Belinsky in 1846 in Odessa.For more than 130 years, it was stored in the family of Dmitry Ivanov, a relative of Belinsky, with whom they studied at the Penza gymnasium, and then at Moscow University.In 1979, the cane was acquired by the museum from the descendants of D.P.
