Summary The position of president was introduced in Russia in 1991.The President of the Russian Federation is the head of state, the guarantor of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, as well as the supreme commander in chief of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.The proposed selection includes legislative acts, research, textbooks, videos, texts of performances and other materials related to the activities of the President of the Russian Federation and bodies that ensure its work.The grouping of the material in the first two sections is based on the structure of the scientific and auxiliary bibliographic pointer "Institute of Presented in Russia" , prepared by the Department of Information and Documentation of the President of the Russian Federation (M., 2012).Inside the sections, materials are given in direct chronology, which allows to trace the historical stages of development of the institution of presidency in our country.During the preparation of the collection, the library of the President of the Russian Federation, the Archive of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Russian Federation, the Center for Information Technologies and Systems of Executive Bodies, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and other sources were used.
