The general herbarium of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, which was started in 1797. - [Sankt-Petersburg: Senate. type., 1799-1840]. - 4. - Tit. sheets "Herb" are engraved. Comp. there were 16 parts, but only 10 came out of print, parts 11-16 remained in the hand. On tit. l., Starting with Part 2, the dates of confirmation of each part are indicated. Part 1 was approved on 1 January. 1798, part 10 - 3 January. 1836 The release date of Part 1 is determined by the announcement. in the St. Petersburg Gazette of June 14, 1799 (No. 47). The herbarium was compiled. at the behest of Paul I, under the supervision of Prosecutor General A. B. Kurakin. Comp. was assigned to OP Kozodavlev and MF Vaganov. Engraving of coats of arms for part 5-10 was carried out in 1836-1840. engravers AG Ukhtomsky (parts 5, 7, 9) and IP Friedrich (parts 6, 8, 10). SK XVIII.
