The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Ulaanbaatar features an exhibition dedicated to the most important events of the Great Patriotic War

April 23 the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Ulaanbaatar, within the framework of a series of events to counter the falsification of history, hosted an exhibition dedicated to the most important events of the Great Patriotic War.

In her speech acting head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Mongolia Tatyana Budaeva noted that the exhibition materials are dedicated to three thematic lines: the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk, as well as the 75th anniversary of the Tehran Conference. She emphasized that the exhibition materials contribute to a reliable perception of past events and help to clearly navigate the flow of information coming from various sources.

Tatiana Budaeva focused in detail on the key points of the Battle of Stalingrad, which was a turning point in the Great Patriotic War and laid the foundation for the defeat of fascist Germany. Then the senior referent of the RCSC Vladimir Zimirev told the audience about the significance of the Battle of Kursk, which lasted from July 5 to August 23, 1943. Then the participants learned the details of the meeting between J. Stalin, F. Roosevelt and W. Churchill in the framework of the Tehran conference. The director of the Cyrillic school Tsevanii Magsar told that during the Tehran conference the basis for the decision on sovereignty and recognition of independent Mongolia was laid, which was already approved at the Yalta conference of 1945.

The portal of the Presidential Library features the electronic collection "Memory of the Great Victory". It includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies from participants in combat engagements and home front workers, their personal documents, images of combat and labor awards, monuments and memorials complexes, thoughts about the war of grandsons and great-grandchildren of veterans.
