The contest on the history of the Great Patriotic War was held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem

On April 27, as part of the preparations for the cultural and educational visits of young compatriots living in Palestine to the historical sites of the Russian Federation, "Hello, Russia!" at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem, the final contest stage "What do I know about the Great Patriotic War" was held.

The organizer of the historic contest was the Coordination Council of the Societies of Russian Compatriots Living in Palestine.

The participants of the contest - the winners of the qualifying stages, previously held in the cities of Ramallah, Hebron and Bethlehem, demonstrated to the jury members their confident knowledge of the Great Patriotic War, its key battles and much more, and answered questions concerning important historical moments.

Winners of the contest with knowledge and a desire for knowledge convinced the jury members in their right to participate in cultural and educational trips to the historical places of the Russian Federation in the framework of the Rossotrudnichestvo "Hello, Russia!" program.

The Presidential Library portal features the electronic collection "Memory of the Great Victory". It includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies from participants in combat engagements and home front workers, their personal documents, images of combat and labor awards, monuments and memorials complexes, thoughts about the war of grandsons and great-grandchildren of veterans.
