The regional center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library, launched a book exhibition timed to the 465th anniversary of the creation of the Moscow Printing Yard - the first domestic printing house. The presented materials detail its history.

The exhibition, arranged by the members of the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, covers research and popular books of different years of issue. Of particular interest is the Illustrated History of Printing and Printing Art by I. F. Bulgakov, published in 1889. The proposed publication is a compendium of all known facts from the history of the development of typographic art until the end of the XIX century. The Presidential Library’s presentation was also illustrated, where the history, technique and art of printing are given in detail.

On the website of the Presidential Library, the Penza Region is represented by the collection "Penza Region: Pages of History". The selection includes archive documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering the demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Penza region at the end of the XVIII century and the first third of the XX century. The current charter of the region is also presented.
