Kemerovo Region Recalls Vladimir Mayakovski’s Poetry
On this day, July 19, 1893, Vladimir Mayakovski was born. The Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library suggests recalling his poems, which the poet wrote down with a "ladder" - with line breaks on certain words and the continuation of the recording from a new line, that helps to read with true intonation.
Mayakovski is one of the largest poets of the XX century, and in Novokuznetsk he is considered the voice of the city for a poem raising the feat with the words: "I know - the city will be, I know, a garden - a flower, when such people are in the Soviet country!"
In July, Novokuznetsk celebrates its 400th anniversary, and everyone can get familiar with the materials on the history of Kuzbass, which are collected in the electronic collection "KUZBASS. Sight (b) Angle... ". This is a joint project of the V. D. Fedorov Kemerovo Region Research and the State Archive of Kemerovo Region. On the Presidential Library portal, you can "leaf through" Mayakovski - a playwright and a satirist. For example, the work "Klop" - a comedy consisting of nine paintings, or “Terrible laughter. ROSTA Posters”.
On the website of the Presidential Library Kuzbass is represented by the collection "Kemerovo Region: Pages of History". This collection includes studies, statistical materials and archive documents of the second half of the XIX - early XX century, describing the administrative, socio-economic, demographic and ethnographic position of the Mariinsky and Kuznetsky districts, the territory of which forms the basis of the modern Kemerovo Region.
