The IV Foreign Languages Competition among schoolchildren took place in Beijing with the support of the Russian Cultural Center

With the support of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, the final and closing ceremony of the Foreign Languages Competition among schoolchildren took place. The main organizers of the competition are the Peking University of Foreign Languages ​​(PUFL) and the Foreign Literature Publishing House under the PUFL.

Among the guests of honor at the event were: representatives of the Spanish and French embassies in China, Mr. Wang Yun, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Literature Publishing House under the PUFL, Ms. Huang Mei, Director of the Institute of the Russian Language of the BUFS, Wang Tsung-hu, Director of the Capital Pedagogical University and teachers of foreign languages ​​departments of Beijing universities.

For the first time this year, Russian and Spanish languages have been added to the competitions in German, French and Japanese. More than 300 schoolchildren from 40 schools from all over China took part in the finals of the competition. All participants demonstrated a high level of knowledge of foreign languages, as well as creativity and imaginative touches.

The winners in the Russian language contest were awarded prizes from the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. The awarding took place at once in several nominations: Russian as the first and second foreign language, the best written translation, for the outstanding knowledge of a foreign language.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Russian language". It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, research papers (including dissertations and thesis abstract), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The digital collection "Russian language" will be of interest not only to the academic and educational community and linguists, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
