Day of Russian Aerospace Forces was celebrated in the Kyrgyz Republic

An event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation was held on the territory of the United Russian CSTO "Kant" air base. It was attended by employees of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek, representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, veterans of the war in Afghanistan.

The deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Kyrgyzstan, Irina Tsareva, congratulated the military on the holiday and handed the airbase command to the honorary charter for the great contribution to the strengthening of Russian-Kyrgyz friendship and cooperation, the constant work to support Russian compatriots in Kyrgyzstan, and also on the occasion of the Day of the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation .

Within the framework of the solemn event, a concert of the ensemble of Russian song "Souvenir" took place. The concert was organized by the curator of cultural projects of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bishkek Igor Vorontsov.

Everyone interested had an opportunity to get familiar with the exhibition of arms and military equipment, which is in service with the airbase. The guests of the event tasted the field kitchen.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Kyrgyzstan: Geography, Ethnography, History". It includes studies, essays, archive and cartographic documents of the XIX - early XX century, reflecting the period when Kyrgyzstan entered the Russian state.
