Working meeting brings together heads of the Presidential Library’s regional centers

On August 14, 2018 by means of videoconferencing the Presidential Library held the working meeting of heads of regional centers. It was organized as part of the interregional cooperation of the Presidential Library network in efforts to encourage experience exchange and plan joint activities for 2019‒2020 .

More than eighty participants from thirty regions of the Russian Federation attended the event.

Reports dealing with developmental stages of regional centers and their key activities were delivered within the meeting. Colleagues discussed the results of their work, short-term plans, and the speeches, which highlighted the wide variety of educational projects available at regional centers.

At the end of the meeting it was decided to develop cooperation between regions in efforts to promote joint activities and hold the same kind of meeting in the autumn. It is likely to address joint library internet projects, which would highlight different regional features. Results of this work may underlie research work or future educational events. What is more, new materials will become available in the collections of the Presidential Library.
