“Library on the grass” literary season closed in Novosibirsk Region

Another season of “Library on the grass”, the outdoor summer venue for meetings, poetry competitions, art and literary displays in Pervomaysky park, organized by Novosibirsk State Regional Academic Library, is closed.

Project “Library on the grass” has been launched in Novosibirsk for several years in a row. Its idea is to popularize reading by holding various outdoor summer events, master classes  and meetings. The three-month summer event was attended by more than 1500 people.

Novosibirsk Region is in the spotlight of the “Novosibirsk Region: Pages of History” collection available on the website of the Presidential Library. The collection features books, periodicals, archives and visual materials, which give an insight into certain aspects of history of Novosibirsk Region between 18th c. – first half of 20th c. (geographical, administrative and territorial, economic etc.), and the current statute of Novosibirsk Region.
